A slight flow of water amongst stones and ferns alongside a National Trust woodland path and marks the site as St Catherine's well. The site was noted as a holy well by Dom Ethlebert Horne in 1923 but there is little information apart from that about this water source which trickles away across the path and into the field beyond.
