A much restored well which it lies within site of the church and in a hedge bank which marks the boundary of this Anglo-Saxon village. Woolfardisworthy (Woolsery) was another of the places linked to the St Nectan Celtic foundation at Stoke and was granted to to Hartland Abbey at the time of Richard 1st and remained a chapelry associated with the Abbey until the Reformation. The church dedication is sometimes given as Holy Trinity and sometimes to All Hallows. No local traditions about the well have been discovered.
